Southwest Florida

Sell us your golf course
& turf equipment

We buy new and used golf course and turf maintenance equipment across Southwest Florida. If you have a machine you are ready to move on, we are interested, running or not.

What we buy

Quality machines running or not

We Buy Outright

So you are not waiting on a consignment sale or paying a commission out of the price.

Greens mowers, fairway units, triplexes, rough and trim mowers, utility vehicles, sprayers, aerators, topdressers, blowers, tractors, reel grinders and attachments. If it works on turf, send it over. We also buy machines that are down, because we run our own shop and a machine that needs a hydraulic pump is still worth money to us when it is worth nothing to a dealer who only trades on running units.

Single machines and complete fleet turnovers both work. If a course is changing brands or closing a maintenance building, we can take the whole list in one transaction.

Tell us what you have To Sell Below

Send the make, the model, the hours and a few photographs. You will hear back from the owner, not from a sales desk.

Owner operatedHow selling works

Four steps and no run around

You are dealing with the owner from the first message to the moment the machine leaves, so nothing gets handed between departments and no quote gets revised by someone who never saw the unit.

  1. Tell us what you have

Send the make, the model, the hours and a few photographs. Photographs of the hour meter, the cutting units and any known fault save the most time. If you do not have the model number, a photograph of the serial plate is enough for us to identify it.

  2. We appraise it properly

We value the machine on what it will actually take to put it back into service, not on a book figure. Twenty five years of buying these units for a working course is what tells us whether a noisy hydraulic system is a hose or a pump, and that difference is the difference between a fair number and a lowball one.

  3. You get one clear offer

One number for the machine as it stands, explained so you can see how we got there. Take it, leave it, or put it toward something in our inventory as a trade. There is no obligation either way and we will tell you plainly if you would do better selling it yourself.

  4. We handle the collection

We arrange transport and loading, including machines that will not drive onto a trailer. You do not need to get it running first and you do not need to move it to a yard for us. Payment is settled at collection.

Manufacturers we buy

The brands a course shop actually runs

These are the makers we buy, sell and service most often. If your machine is not on this list it is still worth asking, because the list reflects what comes through Southwest Florida rather than a limit on what we will consider.

What sets SWFL apart

You are selling to the mechanic

Most buyers in this market are resellers who price from a screen. We ran a golf course equipment shop for over 25 years, which changes both the number you get and how long the whole thing takes.

We can value a broken machineMore
We can value a broken machine

A buyer who cannot diagnose has to assume the worst and price for it. We can tell a failed pump from a split hose and a worn reel from a bad bedknife setting, so a machine that is down does not automatically become a scrap offer.

One person start to finishMore
One person start to finish

Buying, selling, servicing and advising are all handled by the owner. Nobody re inspects the machine and revises your offer, and you never repeat the story to a second department.

We know the local marketMore
We know the local market

Based in Naples and buying across Southwest Florida, so we know what a machine is worth to the next course rather than to a national auction average. Collection is a local run, not a freight quote that eats the price.

Condition we accept

Three states and we buy all three

  1. Running and readyServiceable machines that hold a cut and start on the key. These bring the strongest number because they need the least work before they go back on turf. Bring the service records if you have them, because a documented history is worth real money on a used unit.
  2. Needs workRuns but is tired, or runs with a known fault. Worn reels, a weeping cylinder, a charging problem, deferred maintenance. Tell us what you know and do not spend money fixing it first, because we would rather price the real condition than pay for a repair we would have done differently.
  3. Down or for partsWill not start, will not move, or has been sitting behind the building for a season. These are still worth an offer. A non running machine of a common model is a parts source that keeps somebody else cutting, and it is one less thing for you to store or pay to remove.
Common questions

Selling equipment to us

What kind of golf course equipment do you buy?

Greens mowers, fairway and rough units, triplexes, trim mowers, utility and transport vehicles, sprayers, aerators, topdressers, blowers, compact tractors, reel and bedknife grinders, and the attachments that run with them. We buy new and used golf course and turf maintenance equipment, and we are interested in quality machines whether they are currently in service or not.

Do you buy equipment that does not run?

Yes. Running or not, we are interested. Because we service and refurbish machines ourselves, a unit that is down for a hydraulic fault, an electrical problem or deferred maintenance still has a value to us. Do not spend money repairing it before you call. Tell us what you know is wrong and we will price the machine as it actually stands.

How do you decide what my equipment is worth?

Make, model, hours, condition of the cutting units, service history, and what it will realistically take to return the machine to service. Over 25 years managing golf course equipment is what lets us judge that last part accurately rather than assuming the worst. You get one number for the machine as it stands, with the reasoning behind it, so you can weigh it against selling privately.

Do you collect the equipment or do I deliver it?

We arrange collection, including for machines that cannot be driven or will not load under their own power. You do not need to get it running or move it to a more convenient spot first. Payment is settled at collection.

Which manufacturers do you buy?

Most often John Deere, Toro, Jacobsen, Cushman, Turfco, Kubota, Steiner, Dakota and Smithco. That list reflects what moves through Southwest Florida rather than a restriction, so if your machine is another make it is still worth asking.

Do you buy single machines or whole fleets?

Both. One surplus mower is worth a conversation, and so is a complete fleet turnover when a course changes brands, renovates, or clears a maintenance building. For a larger list, send the whole inventory in one message and we will work through it as a single transaction rather than machine by machine.

Can I trade my equipment against something you have in stock?

Yes. You can take the offer as a straight sale or put it toward a machine from our inventory. Trading is often the simplest route when you are replacing rather than retiring a unit, because it settles both sides in one transaction and one collection.
